SENATE INTELLIGENCE PANEL: VOTERS IGNORED INTELLIGENCE, ABOUT BUSH’S LACK OF INTELLIGENCE

In a scathing report, the Senate Intelligence Committee today issued a blistering condemnation of the American electorate, stating that the voters, on two separate occasions, ignored clear intelligence about the utter lack of George W. Bush’s intelligence.

Entitled The Disregard of Intelligence About Bush’s Lack of Intelligence, the Report claimed that Bush’s entire history of mediocrity and immaturity clearly indicated that his election would have disastrous effects, including needless death, destruction and sectarian strife — and that’s just in the United States.

While all Democrats¬†on the Committee endorsed the report, most of the¬†Republicans — with the exception of Senators Hagel and Snowe –¬†strongly dissented, claiming that intelligence has no role to play in affairs of state.

The minority also stated¬†that Americans¬†correctly voted for¬†the guy they’d prefer to¬†have a BBQ with, even if Bush ended up burning the steaks, the deck, and the entire house.¬†¬†¬†

The Committee also harshly criticized itself for its own handling of the lead-up to the Iraq War, in a separate phase of the report, called The Senate Intelligence Committee’s Lack of Intelligence About Bush’s Lack of Intelligence.

However, most anti-war activists insisted that the Intelligence Committee’s criticism of its own intelligence made them a bunch of phonies, since their real problem was clearly a lack of cohones.
