Note to Readers: This post is intended not to make light of the tragic events in Iran, but as a tribute to Neda and the other brave Iranians resisting the regime, and I sincerely hope it is taken in that spirit. 

Also, lest anybody make the mistake of assuming that I’m a “highbrow,” I only heard of “Pagliacci” as a result of watching “Seinfeld.”
