Chris Hansen, the reporter for Dateline’s “To Catch a Predator” series on NBC, has been arrested and charged for breaking and entering into a slew of suburban homes.

Hansen was arrested when the owner of a split-level ranch in a quiet bedroom commmunity returned home early from work, where she found the NBC reporter literally with his pants down, relieving himself in the master bathroom.

Police say that Hansen had been downloading pornography on the computer in the bedroom of the woman’s teenage daughter, and had also videotaped himself rehearsing his Predator lines, while sitting buck naked on the kitchen island.

Hansen has also been charged with third-degree burglary, after the homeowner reported a number of missing items, including all of the kitchen knives, her thong underwear, and three pairs of stiletto heels.

Police say that Hansen did not try to escape when they showed up, but that he did repeatedly insist that his name was “Stone Phillips,” accused the cops of being “decoys” — and also strangely asked if he could call his priest, instead of a lawyer.
